Design
The boat is 375 cm long and has a beam width of 137 cm when it is fully inflated. Pontoons tubes used on the boat have a diameter of 16.5 inches (41.91 cm). There are two air chambers which are independent of each other and their one-way air valves are recessed into the boat surface. To inflate the Foldcat boat, it takes about 10 minutes and a portable air pump maybe used for the same. The inflation pressure for operating the boat stands at 3.2 psi.
The hull of the boat comes pre-fitted with aluminum floorboards that can be adjusted as required. The package includes aluminum underbars for stabilizing the boat that slide under the floorboards creating a rigid fishing platform. It is quite portable with a hull weight of just 34 kg.

Foldcat boat comes with a motor mount that can accommodate small engines with a maximum weight of 20 kg. Both gasoline and electric engine options are available. It can handle gasoline engines with up to 3hp maximum capacity and a 45lbs thrust. Electric motors with 70lbs. of maximum thrust can be installed. A battery power center maybe opted for to accommodate the batteries. The top speed of the boat is 13 kph when fitted with a gas engine and 6 kph with an electric motor. The boat also comes with oars for rowing which can be quite beneficial in case the battery runs out or engine malfunctions while exploring the waters.
